Since opening our doors in 2009, Bocados Spanish Kitchen has become a beloved part of Newcastle’s dining scene. As a family-owned restaurant, our passion has always been simple:

Bringing people together through beautiful food, genuine hospitality and unforgettable moments around the table.

Inspired by the vibrant flavours of Spain and Latin America, with a strong Peruvian influence, our kitchen celebrates hearty, soulful cooking. From sizzling garlic prawns and our signature Bocados paella to indulgent Basque cheesecake and creamy Peruvian flan, every dish brings its own little story to the table.

We believe great food takes time, care and passion. That’s why we prepare our dishes, sauces and accompaniments in-house, using recipes and flavours that remind us of family gatherings, long lunches and celebrations where the food keeps coming and nobody is in the hurry to leave.

And because no great feast is complete without something to sip, our bar offers house-made sangria, local and imported beers, and carefully selected range of Australian, Hunter Valey and international wines.
